Department of History, Society and Human Science


The Department of History, Society and Human Science of University of Salento (Lecce, Italy)  promotes activities of research aimed at analyzing and understanding the history, the social phenomena, the individual and collective behaviours, and the impact of the individual-environment relationship in the today society.

The psychological area is concerned with the development of models of knowledge, methodologies and instruments for analyzing the processes which mediate the relationship between subjectivity and intersubjectivity, able to orient an intervention aimed to the improvement of organizational and social systems (in educational, health, community fields).

The main interest of this area focuses on the analysis of the role of the socio-symbolic processes on educational success and the elaboration of politics of intervention aimed at regulating and developing educational settings.
