The story of own life is the story of what one thinks and does, but is primarily the story of what someone is. From this assumption starts the project "One life, many stories", promoted by Centro di Ateneo SInAPSi as part of the pre-orientation.
The basic idea is that the life of each of us, although unique and unrepeatable, consists of many and various stories, the stories of life. And that is why he project aims to gather the stories of the last year of high school boys and girls, at that particular time in their evolutionary history, when they're working in the formation and designing of their-selves as a persons in their entirety. Rebuilding their life story, through the key moments, may be of help and guidance to those who are at the threshold of an important choice, as that of their future prospect, in work or study.
Bring out the uniqueness of each person involved in the project through the narration and the writing of own autobiography, paying particular attention and reference to the propensities of each one, talents and abilities, in view of the orientation of the guys to a life project. This is the period of life when great dreams and ambitions are the masters then the start is principally from those.
Through the narrative metaphor of the journey, will be offered the kids a path in which each one will freely choose the destination. Will be released on multimedia platform a monthly theme to develop through the use of different languages from written, to the use of songs or videos thereby taking advantage of the different communication channels closer to young people. Each single theme will be presented during a meeting that will have the purpose of verifying the previous one and share contents about the new one. The themes will have a track-guided as open and flexible as possible, to allow the free expression of all, and will be characterized by simplicity, everyday life and concreteness.
The autobiographical narrative path will be represented by a symbolic journey in search of themselves and will be divided into six stages corresponding to the pedagogic themes identified.
The project is directed to a small group of 6-7 students in their last year of high school from different classes and schools to promote comparison with various life experiences. The group will include students with disabilities in perspective of reciprocal acceptance.
The effective duration is fixed at six months (will start in October 2010 and will end in April 2011), to dedicate a month to each theme and will be preceded by a period of study and deepening the topic to propose and a month of formation of the group at the beginning of the school year. The face to face meetings will be a total of seven, six dedicated to the presentation of various themes through the virtual platform and a closing one for verification. Expected to have duration, assessed during the work, of 60 minutes each.
