"Learning to learn at University: support study skills" is a project born with the aim of preventing events of exclusion and dispersion at the university.
In particular, the project aims to promote and enhance the competence of learning to learn which, at the university, declines in the ability to think about emotional, cognitive and social dimensions and knowing how to study in an effective and functional way to academic success.
The project is for undergraduate students of Federico II whom, during the first year, have been slow in achieving credits and in passing the exams. The project is also addressed to those students for whom excessive stress in dealing with the testing and rhythms of the university career impinge on their academic performance.
SINAPSI, through the project "Learning to learn at University", gives these students the chance to participate in a training process consisting of eight group meetings lasting about two hours which will take place during the period March-April 2012 once a week.
The project is extended to any Faculty of the University. Therefore, we encourage interested students to contact us, indicating name and surname, degree course and year of enrollment by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Phases of the project already underway:
Since November 2011 the project has been activated in the Degree Course in Chemical Engineering.
